Raised in small towns throughout the midwest, Jonny developed a love of traveling and exploring. Behind the camera, he loves to find beauty in the mundane and explore the simple intricacies of daily life. He finds immense purpose in filmmaking and loves solving the unique problems that come up in the thousands of commercials, feature films, documentaries, short films and music videos he’s been a part of. He’s a sensitive cinematographer who strives to connect with each shot. Collaborating with a team of artists to paint a picture and tell a story is a true joy that he cherishes. When he’s not working on a new music video or playing with his son, he enjoys traveling, live music and gardening with his wife.
