Director Andrew Hatling had a really strong sense of what he wanted the colors to look like and how they relate to each other.  We shot and edited a series of camera tests beforehand to make sure the paint, camera sensor and lighting all line up to make sure the colors come through accurately in post.  I love playing with hard light to maximize color saturation.  This was a great stylized project where the hard light creates a strong graphic look.  Hard light is definitely more challenging with work with especially when lighting people, but when you nail it, it creaates such a strong graphic look that adds so much to the piece.
